 2012 is seen as the next generation of Professional Tennis Tournaments in Australia.

• Entry deadlines have been standardized for all events within Australia.

1. oTournaments will NOT have the ability to accept late entries for any AMT or OJT.
2. oCare must be shown when entering doubles for AMT or OJT.
3. oEntries will only be accepted through the active.com / Tournament Planner online system at tournaments.tennis.com.au
4. oDo not exit your entry without going to the active.com lower section of the page and make your payment.
5. oUnpaid entries will be deleted.
6. ALL entries MUST be with a current Tennis ID Number starting with 61200xxxxxx.
7. Available from each State Association, however it may take up to 3 days for an allocated number.

• Draw sizes for both AMT and OJT events have been standardized with only small variations.

1. oAs Main Draw sizes are now limited it is VERY important each entrant MUST check the obligations to play in the Quallies.
2. oAMT events will have a “Sign-On” at the tournament window for an AR Points consolation event. This will of course give players more quality match play. More details will be available as soon as TA publishes info.
3. oOJT events will have a COMPULSORY AR Points consolation event. This will of course give players more quality match play and the increased opportunity to earn AR Points. More details will be available as soon as TA publishes the info.
4. oGosford Tennis Centre and many other tournaments have additional NON AR Events – Example: Special Singles and Special Doubles for Larger prizemoney and or T NSW SS events. Entry to these events will done via both the normal active.com / Tournament Planner system or via the tournament administrator.

"At Gosford Tennis Centre we, in each year of 2010 and 2011 conducted "TWENTY plus ITF and State events or MAJOR TENNIS TOURNAMENTS" over each year. However in 2012 we will only have 15 Major Events - disappointing but we have to live with these decisions. In addition I have been granted 15 TNSW SS events (formerly MSS). Each will run over consecutive Saturday and Sunday’s ONLY. We anticipate starting at 4 pm Saturdays (last match on at 7:30 pm) and Midday start Sundays to finish each event.

We encourage you to play the TNSW SS Series. They are for Special NSW Points with GREAT REWARDS at the end of each event and T NSW have devised even better REWARDS at the end of the season. Over past years the GOSFORD TENNIS CENTRE has (in our opinion) been the most enthusiastic Tennis Centre to support the Australian Calendar (outside the ATP, ITF, and Australian and Medibank Opens of course).

As we are sure you can appreciate, our endeavor is to continue to support the young developing tennis player in every way possible". Players aged 8 years to 16 years should be participants in the 2012 T NSW SS Series - more info go to SEARCH below and type in NSWSS and then use your ENTER key.

8 years and under will use the RED Tennis Ball with the 10 under using the GREEN Tennis Ball – as per the World ITF recent decision and endorsed by Tennis Australia.
